Simple Banana Bread

  • 250 grams oat flour run regular oats through a blender
  • 100 grams brown sugar
  • 100 grams all purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 120 ml any plant milk
  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 flax egg (finely ground flaxseeds, 1tbsp + 1 tbsp water)
  • 50 ml coconut oil
  • a pinch of salt


  • Preheat the oven to 180C.
  • Add the oat and all purpose flour to a bowl.
  • Add the brown sugar, baking powder, salt, nutmeg and cinnamon.
  • Add the bananas to your blender along with the plant milk, cocoa powder and coconut oil and blend.
  • Pour the blended mix into the mixing bowl and mix it into a smooth batter.
  • Grease a loaf pan and pour in the batter and place into the oven to bake for 60+ minutes.
  • It’s ready when you put a toothpick into the center of the loaf and it comes out clean.
  • Let it cool for 30 minutes before turning and cutting into it.
