Simple Mushroom Gravy

  • 250 grams white button mushrooms
  • 3 tbsp vegan butter
  • 2 tbsp all purpose flour
  • 400 ml veggie stock
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp thyme/rosemary


  • In a larger saucepan, heat up the butter. Add in the sliced mushrooms and cook until they have released the water.
  • Sprinkle over the flour and mix well. Cook for a couple of minutes. Add in soy sauce and the herbs.
  • Add in the veggie stock and simmer for 10-15 minutes. Reduce by half.
